Veterans who serve their country “often face insurmountable challenges,” says the founder of Green Soldiers Healers.

Cannabis is said to have medicinal benefits that would otherwise require cocktails of alternative  ingredients. It is hoped that the fundraising event scheduled to take place on 8 November 2015, which is sponsored by Kiva Chocolate, Refined Bud and others, will allow the veterans to find out more about the medicinal uses of the drug.

How Important Is the 2016 Election for Cannabis?

Cannabis legalization has, in an historic turn of events, become a notable topic in the 2016 race for president of the United States. The subject has come up in both the Republican and Democratic debates with even Jeb Bush admitting that he smoked (and inhaled) with only a laughing "sorry, Mom" as an apology.

Federal survey data collected in 2014 suggest that older adults have had relatively little interest in e-cigarettes, with individuals younger than 25 being the primary experimenters and regular users.

Bernie Sanders: End Federal Marijuana Prohibition To Improve Lives Of Black People

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA — Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders went farther than any of his opponents in calling for an end to the war on drugs Wednesday when he told college students at George Mason University it was time to “to remove the federal prohibition on marijuana.”

Sanders said a shift away from criminal prosecutions for marijuana could improve the lives of black Americans he said are unfairly burdened with criminal records for doing something Americans of all races also do.

Cannabis expo hosts career fair for Phoenix-area businesses

Most businesses require special skills and qualifications from interested applicants applying for a position. But imagine applying for a job that requires you to only wake up and show up to work on time, and also involves no previous experience.

That is only one of the benefits of applying for a job in the cannabis industry.

This week, the Southwest Cannabis Conference and Expo is taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center and providing information, awareness and education about medical marijuana and its growth.

The future Kingpin of Central Ohio’s cannabis is …a real estate developer?

Just who in the heck is Rick Kirk?
If Issue 3 indeed becomes law, and you reside in Franklin County and a marijuana user, Kirk is going to be growing your legal green, selling you your legal green, and taking your monetary green.

Kirk is one of the 20 primary investors aligned with ResponsibleOhio, the “AstroTurf” effort behind Issue 3. The Columbus-based strategy group has said it will spend at least $20 million to get the investor-backed constitutional amendment passed.

Pennsylvania Patients Forced To Hide Their Medical Cannabis Use

Every person should have the right to obtain cannabis legally. Cannabis plant treatment is safer and more effective than pharmaceuticals, especially opiate based pain medication and many cancer-therapy drugs. Still many patients do not have the right to access medical marijuana legally and are forced to obtain and medicate outside of the law.

Sanders will propose nixing marijuana from federal list of dangerous drugs

Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will announce his support Wednesday for removing marijuana from a list of the most dangerous drugs outlawed by the federal government — a move that would free states to legalize it without impediments from Washington.

The self-described democratic socialist senator from Vermont plans to share his proposal during a town hall meeting with college students that will be broadcast on the Internet across the country from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

“Too many Americans have seen their lives destroyed because they have criminal records as a result of marijuana use,” Sanders says in prepared remarks for the event provided to The Washington Post. “That’s wrong. That has got to change.”
