Cannabis growers rack up odor complaints

While some would argue marijuana odor is actually a pleasant aroma, smells coming from cannabis cultivation facilities are starting to get a lot of heat from neighbors who find the aroma to be offensive.

“Odors from cultivation facilities are becoming an increasingly contentious issue between cannabis growers, the municipalities they call home and residents who live nearby,” according to Marijuana Business Daily.

Marijuana businesses in many states are now faced with the choice of installing expensive odor-eliminating technology or risk losing favor with neighbors and local lawmakers.
